The Big Move: We’re getting closer!

It’s amazing how tired a person can become from packing an average of 3 boxes a day. I suppose being 32 weeks pregnant doesn’t exactly make me an average person, however. But I’m still plugging away in preparation for our planned move a week from Saturday.

Yikes. That’s coming up really fast.

But really, things are moving fast around here. Kellan is out of preschool for the summer, so I’m trying to get as much work done as my body will allow, while still keeping him somewhat entertained. (Tough to do, especially when it will not stop raining around here. For the love of pete! When is summer going to start?!?!?)

And….drumroll please….the remodeling is well underway at the new house. The bathrooms have been gutted and prepped for tiling to start. And we’re adding a window in the master bath to let in natural light! Yay!!! So so excited about that. Also, our painting guy is putting in a lot of long, long hours to get wallpaper off, and new paint on. I’m told we’re going to see a whole lot of new paint up on the walls by the end of the weekend. Woo hoo!

I wish I had something more exciting to blog about, but really, that’s all I have to report at the moment. Right now, my life is all about packing, checking on the remodel progress, more packing, some eating and sleeping, and coming up with ways to help Kellan burn energy while conserving my own. Exciting stuff.

Hopefully I’ll have more interesting stuff to tell you about soon…such as our baby nursery progress! Now that is something to look forward to! Wheeeee!!!
