Now that I’m getting back to work for a while, I’m once again relying on my slow cooker. It’s my way of making sure Kellan and Michael eat somewhat decently while I’m away. Otherwise, left to their own devices, there’s a fair amount of restaurant take-out and macaroni & cheese that gets served at the dinner table.

You know how everybody always says every pregnancy is different? I think in many cases that’s true, but there’s one thing that my first and second pregnancies share: the nesting instinct. I nested the crap out of the place when I was pregnant with Kellan.
