Oh baby! Slow goin’ at the hospital

Whoever said second babies always come faster? I’ve been on Pitocin for about seven hours and I’m only dilated to three centimeters.
Oh. My. Gah.
I’d really like to move this thing along…because I’m hungry. Really, I’d be okay with this whole birth thing if I could eat some damn food during the process. Good lord.
Okay, so that’s the update. Baby looks good, I’m in relatively good spirits, and Kellan is totally happy and well taken care of by his grandparents.
So…..on with the show!!!

Wow! Seriously you are looking great! Like I was saying on twitter (I’m @wordsforliving), my boys are teens now and I don’t remember doing so well. At this point in my own deliveries, I probably looked like I’d been through a tornado and whining was probably at high levels.
I’m in Boise now, but had my first son in Alaska and the second one in Arizona.
And they won’t let you eat?! You need food! That would be enough to provoke a revolt and possible rioting!
You can do it! I’m sending positive energy this way, hopefully the pace will pick up soon.
Oh. My. God. I’ve been frantically checking FB & Twitter all day for Baby Girl updates! Come on Baby Girl, give your sweet mama a break!! She wants to eat! Hurry up and get here!!! Am sending hurry up vibes your way! Good luck my friend!
