Nine years and counting

It’s been nine years since the day I married my best friend. And you know the things you hear about marriage? That it’s difficult, and a daily test, and requires an enormous amount of compromise? I don’t agree. It’s not like waking up to rainbows and unicorns every day (and who would want that anyway – how weird) but marriage is certainly the best decision I’ve ever made. I love and respect Michael more than anyone else in this world, and I cannot imagine my life without him.

So here’s to nine years, and the many more ahead…
