I should be sleeping right now

And now…it’s time for another installment of I have no idea what to write but I have a few uninterrupted minutes to try!

So, my friends. Once again, I’ll compile a list of random news and notes. That oughta do.

• Since I have these few, uninterrupted minutes to myself, I really should be sleeping. That goes without saying.
• Finally. Kellan’s preschool year has begun. Now I have three guaranteed mornings a week (!) that I can focus only on Ella, or on blogging (or not sleeping) if she happens to be napping. What a luxury.
• Kellan participated in a drum circle performance at a festival this weekend. And I didn’t have my camera. Still kicking myself for that one. I didn’t realize he was going to get up on stage, but I should have at least had my camera with me…the cell phone camera didn’t cut it.
• I ran into a handful of friends this weekend – it is so nice to see friendly faces. Especially the ones I haven’t seen for weeks!
• Ella is cooing and gurgling and being SO DARN CUTE that I just can’t stand it.
• There are several mouse-sized dog hairballs in my house right now. My heart leaps into my throat every time one of them catches a breeze and skitters across the floor. Once I realize it’s not actually a mouse, I just go about my merry way without picking it up, only to be terrified by it yet again a couple hours later. You think I’d learn.

So there you have it. Another random mishmash blog post. But before I go…here’s a little picture of my two cute kids cuddling together. My heart is melting as we speak.
