I’m About.com’s Mom Blogger of the Week!

Well, this is a nice surprise.
I was contacted a few weeks ago by the editor of About.com’s Stay at Home Moms page, and told that I was one of 10 mom bloggers to be featured in their new Mom Blogs section.
Then I found out not only am I the first to be profiled during this 10 week feature, but I am also their first Mom Blogger of the Week!
Many thanks to my family and friends for all their support (especially those I blog about!) and of course…my thanks to Apryl at About.com!
Feel free to leave a review of my blog on the AnchorMommy profile page, or a comment on my Mom Blogger of the Week announcement.
And while I’m at it, I’d like to ask for your support at a couple of other sites. AnchorMommy is also profiled on Parents Connect, which is affiliated with the Nickelodeon network. You can leave a review on Parents Connect as well, and help me get nominated for their 2010 Parents’ Picks/Best of the City program!
And last but not least, voting is open for the Boise Weekly’s Best of Boise awards. Click here to vote. You’ll be routed to a page where all you have to do is enter your email address and make up a password, and you’re in! It’s a write-in campaign, so you just type in ‘AnchorMommy’ under the best local blog and best local blogger categories.
Thanks again for your support!!! While AnchorMommy is relatively young in the blogging world, it is exciting for me to see how far it has come in just a couple of months. And I could not do it without you, the best readers a mommy blogger could ask for.

Just catchin up on blog posts - congrats! That is very cool….You should check out this site: http://www.momversation.com/. It seems right up your alley - you may have to pursue them but it’d be a cool site to be affiliated with!
Thanks, I do follow Momversation. I agree, it’s a cool site!
That’s awesome, I’m not at all surprised though. I love your blog!
